Jesse and Ashley Caron have lived on the Francis Drive Farm in Bethany, Connecticut for over 10 years. Jesse has always been an avid gardener. Around 4 years ago, he took it to a new level. He plowed up the entire yard, front and back and began growing more and more vegetables and flowers. He now has more than enough to share with his friends and neighbors.

Sourdough Micro Bakery

Ashley is a talented cook and baker. In an effort to feed her family of 3 only the best, she learned the nutritional benefits of sour dough bread. She and Jesse now offer a wide variety of home baked sourdough goods including loaf bread, artisan bread, bagels, muffins and her world famous chocolate chip pecan cookies.

Our labor of love now offers you produce and sourdough breads and bagels for sale. We strive to foster a sense of community by selling directly to customers at our Farm Market at 27 Francis Drive, Bethany, Connecticut.

Micro Farming:

  • Intensive Land Use: Our micro farm utilizes our plot of land efficiently to maximize yeilds.

Sourdough Micro Bakery:

  • Homemade Sourdough Bagels: Sourdough bagels are savory, chewy, crusty, and deliciously tangy. They are an amazing way to start your morning or to enjoy for a yummy brunch. Compared to regular bagels, sourdough bagels are a healthier option. Lower in gluten making them easier to digest, lower glycemic index, and more nutritious.
  • Artisan Bread: Our bakery specializes in naturallt leavened bread, using a sourdough starter instead of commercial yeast.
  • Wholesome Products: We strive to create bread and other baked goods that are both delicious and beneficial for gut health, without preservatives.
